Next BJ DJs - 11/12/2011
We are approaching that time yet again. We’ve been using a sign up list to make sure everyone gets a turn at the decks and it’s been going pretty well. Currently we are doing 20 minute mini-mixes.
The vibe has been good at the meet-ups and I think everyone is learning a lot from everyone else. I know I have been.
Thanks to everyone that’s been coming out regularly.
We hope to see some new faces out at this next one.

A Collaboration is Born
To my knowledge this is the first party to come about as a result of the BJDJ meet-up. If there are more of you out there that have hooked up and made an event as a result of this little meet-up please let us know so that we can post it here and let everyone know.

O my! It’s Growing
Thanks to everyone that came out.
So far we’ve had more people every week than the previous week, which I am more than pleased with.
Last night (October 23) we had a very nice crowd.
The past number of weeks when the number of people was lower we have just taken turns on the decks on a first come first serve basis.
But now that the number of DJs is increasing I think it’s time to start using a sign up sheet to organize who goes on when.
So at the next BJ DJs meet-up (November 13) we will have a sign-up sheet. I’m thinking that for now we will do either 20 or 30 minute time slots (depending on the number people at the next one). You can take as much or as little of this time as you like (but not more :-)
The idea here is to have something prepared and to blow away all of your friends (and soon to be friends) with your impeccable/on point mixing skills.
